Summary:Â
Apply knowledge of engineering and physical science principles, materials, and tools in a collaborative environment to develop, integrate, document, and evaluate flight vehicle structure designs for performance, functionality, cost-effectiveness, manufacturability, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
Areas of expertise may include:
Primary and secondary structure design
Payloads design
Weights and lofting
This position focuses on metallic design with an emphasis on fuselage structures.
Requirements:
11+ years of experience in aerospace structural design
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required; engineering degree strongly preferred over design/drafting backgrounds)
Proficient in CATIA and familiar with Boeing design processes
ENOVIA experience required
Recent commercial structures experience (within the last 10 years) with primary structures background
Experience working on Boeing programs and fuselage structures
Background in aerospace structures, product development, and new design
Experience with commercial OEMsÂ
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
