Job Description

JOB TITLE: Senior Cabinet Builder
LOCATION: 
Marysville, WA
PAY RATE: $30-35/hour

Summary: 

  • Builds high-end aircraft cabinetry using veneers, laminates, and composite materials while ensuring quality standards.

  • Provides training and mentorship to cabinet builders.

  • Train and mentor cabinet builders.

  • Read and interpret customer specifications and engineering drawings.

  • Fabricate and install aircraft cabinetry, including hardwood bullnose, Corian countertops, and veneer applications.

  • Operate CNC machines, pin routers, and other woodworking equipment.

  • Apply adhesives, epoxies, and finishes.

  • Ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations.

  • Maintain shop tools and a clean work environment.

  • Meet production targets and deadlines.

Required Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 4+ years of aircraft cabinet building experience (required).

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

  • Must meet minimum tool requirements within six months of employment.

  • Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.

  • Effective communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and using measuring instruments.

  • Ability to operate woodworking tools and machinery.

Tool Requirements:

  • Basic hand tools (hammers, chisels, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.).

  • Power tools (cordless drills, routers, die grinders, etc.).

  • Measuring instruments (calipers, scales, tape measures).

Physical Requirements:

  • Must comply with DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.

  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. unassisted (up to 100 lbs. with assistance).

  • Ability to work in various positions, including kneeling, standing, and climbing ladders.

  • Normal or corrected vision required.
