JOB TITLE: Senior Avionics Technician
LOCATION: Moses Lake, WA
SALARY: $61,000 - $85,000/year

Job Details:
Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary:
Modify, service, repair, and overhaul aircraft to ensure airworthiness.
Supervise and co-sign for uncertified mechanics per RSM procedures.
Provide On-the-Job Training (OJT) and mentorship.
Assist Lead Avionics Technician with planning, production, and quality assurance.
Submit required data to Engineering as needed.
Perform routine aircraft maintenance, repairs, and modifications.
Use and maintain Avionics hand tools for installations and repairs.
Fabricate wire bundles and assemblies, including wire marking, securing, and termination.
Troubleshoot, test, and repair aircraft systems using test equipment (e.g., Pitot Static Cart, Navigation test sets).
Accurately document work performed and prepare routine reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
Minimum 3 years of avionics experience.
Proficient with the Standard Wiring Practices Manual.
Airframe (A) or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License preferred.
B1, B1.1, and/or B2 certification a plus.
Must qualify as a US Person under ITAR regulations.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Mathematical aptitude for problem-solving.
Ability to work independently, travel, and handle overtime as required.
Physical Requirements:
Comply with DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.
Climb ladders, lift up to 50 pounds (75 pounds with assistance), and work in confined spaces.
Perform tasks requiring precise vision and full hand motion.
