Job Description

JOB TITLE:  Senior Avionics Installer 
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $32.18/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Provide direction to technicians; ensure tasks are completed within timeframes

  • Install, modify, and fabricate wiring, components, and equipment per drawings and specifications

  • Train team members and support skill development across the team

  • Assist Engineering in troubleshooting and perform repairs as directed

  • Maintain required documentation and records

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements

  • Enforce safety, tool control, 5S, and FOD programs

  • Inspect all work, including peer work, for quality before final inspection

  • Maintain shop tools and equipment

  • Coordinate shift changes in the absence of team leadership

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities (e.g., YIAW, Kaizen events)

  • Support or fill in for team coordinator as needed

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Two (2) years of accredited aviation electronics schooling and two (2) years of related work experience, or Four (4) years of experience in an avionics/electronics career field

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams

  • Working knowledge of company manuals and process specifications

  • Ability to adapt to new tasks with minimal impact on schedule/goals

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Basic computer and keyboard proficiency

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
