JOB TITLE: Senior Aircraft Technician 
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $36.04/hour

Summary: 

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft mechanical systems within standard CMP time requirements

  • Provide work direction and mentorship to assigned technicians; uphold high-quality standards

  • Act on behalf of the Mechanical Team Lead (MTL) when assigned

  • Coordinate with Inspection to ensure FAA and internal compliance; complete all documentation accurately and timely

  • Properly tag, store, and safeguard customer property and components

  • Operate ground support equipment (power units, hydraulic rigs, nitrogen/oxygen carts) per SOPs and JSAs

  • Coordinate aircraft movement as required

  • Assist in training employees on CMP, SRMs, IPC usage, flight test installations, and major component maintenance

  • Coordinate overhaul or repair of customer property with other departments

  • Utilize material tracking systems for parts ordering and labor charging

  • Apply 6S and Lean principles to maintain clean, safe work areas

  • Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials

  • Maintain and return company tools and equipment appropriately

  • Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, including participation in flight tests as required

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Minimum 4 years of aviation maintenance experience, including 3 years on mid- to large-size aircraft

  • Corporate aircraft experience preferred

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required

  • Valid Driver’s License required

  • Advanced knowledge of aircraft inspection and maintenance procedures across product lines

  • Strong understanding of technical reference materials (maintenance manuals, IPCs, SRMs, Service Bulletins, engineering drawings, etc.)

  • Working knowledge of FAA regulations, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
