JOB TITLE: Senior Aircraft Mechanic
LOCATION: 
Moses Lake, WA
SALARY: $61,000 - $85,000 per year

Summary: 

  • Performs maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft to ensure airworthiness.

  • Develops mechanics and supports daily operations under minimal supervision.

  • Oversee and co-sign for uncertified mechanics per GTI RSM procedures.

  • Perform routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance, including repair, modification, and replacement.

  • Interpret technical documents such as maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and engineering orders to determine repair methods.

  • Rig and test flight control surfaces, landing gear systems, and engine systems.

  • Troubleshoot landing gear, flight control, engine, hydraulic, and air-conditioning systems.

  • Order parts and ensure material suitability.

  • Collaborate with Engineering as needed and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

  • Assist Leads with planning, production, and quality assurance on assigned projects.

  • Communicate progress and challenges with maintenance personnel and leadership.

  • Provide On-the-Job Training (OJT) and mentorship to junior mechanics.

  • Maintain a clean work environment and clock accurately to jobs.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Required Skills:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum 3 years of commercial/military aircraft maintenance or MRO experience.

  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required.

  • U.S. Person status may be required for compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations.

  • Ability to communicate in English (read, write, and verbally).

  • Strong knowledge of maintenance operations and the ability to work independently.

  • Experience operating ground support equipment (e.g., power carts, Hi-Reach).

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various physical positions.

  • Availability to travel and work outside standard hours as required.

  • Must comply with DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.
