Job Description

JOB TITLE: RS Sr Aircraft Maintenance Technician 
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $36.04/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Perform aircraft modifications and maintenance independently on mid-to-large size aircraft.

  • Remove, install, and service airframes, landing gear, engines, electrical systems, and control systems.

  • Ensure work aligns with quality standards, procedures, and test specifications.

  • Provide direction to technicians and act as the Mechanical Team Lead when assigned.

  • Coordinate with inspection and other departments to maintain compliance and workflow efficiency.

Requirements:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 4 years of aviation maintenance experience, including 3 years on mid/large-size aircraft

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Advanced knowledge of:

    • Aircraft inspection and maintenance procedures

    • Technical reference materials (MMs, IPCs, SRMs, SBs, engineering drawings, etc.)

    • FAA regulations, repair station policies, and quality control procedures

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

  • Corporate aircraft experience

  • Experience with computerized maintenance programs (e.g., CMP)

  • Knowledge of Lean/6S processes

  • Proficiency in coordinating flight test installations and final phase testing

  • Experience training or mentoring junior technicians
