JOB TITLE: Senior Aircraft Technician
LOCATION: Dallas, TX
PAY RATE: $37.86/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Perform scheduled maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft mechanical systems.

  • Complete maintenance tasks within quoted or standard CMP timelines.

  • Provide work direction and mentorship to assigned technicians while promoting safety and quality standards.

  • Support team leadership and act on behalf of the Mechanical Team Lead (MTL) when assigned.

  • Coordinate with Inspection teams to ensure FAA and internal compliance requirements are met.

  • Complete work order sign-offs, shift turnovers, and maintenance documentation accurately and on time.

  • Operate and oversee ground support equipment, including hydraulic rigs, power supplies, nitrogen filler carts, and oxygen service equipment.

  • Coordinate aircraft movement and support removal/installation of major components.

  • Train new employees on CMP maintenance manuals, SRMs, IPC usage, and major component maintenance.

  • Coordinate repairs and overhauls of customer property with internal departments.

  • Use material tracking systems to create parts demand and charge labor to work orders.

  • Maintain clean and safe work environments through 6S and Lean initiatives.

  • Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, including flight tests as required.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 4+ years of aviation maintenance experience, including 3+ years working on mid-to-large aircraft.

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate required.

  • Valid Driver’s License required.

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

  • Advanced knowledge of aircraft inspection and maintenance procedures across multiple aircraft systems and models.

  • Strong understanding of technical reference materials, including maintenance manuals, IPCs, service bulletins, structural repair manuals, and engineering drawings.

  • Working knowledge of FAA regulations, Repair Station requirements, Quality Control manuals, and company procedures.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
