JOB TITLE: RS Senior Aircraft Technician  
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $36.04/hour

Job Details:

• Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Summary: 

• Perform machine set-up, machining, sheet metal fabrication, extrusion, tube bending, and fabrication tasks

• Conduct composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks

• Assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components

• Assemble, repair, modify, and install various power plants and drive trains

• Solder electronic and avionics products

• Assemble and install wire harnesses and avionics products

• Prepare test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices for various tests

• Perform basic organic chemical conversion, paint preparation, and apply coatings for corrosion protection and appearance

• Work on articles of limited complexity following established drawings and requirements

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• 4 years Aviation Maintenance experience to include 3 years of experience working on mid/large size aircraft required.

• Corporate aircraft experience preferred. FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate required.

• Valid Driver’s License required.

Desired Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Fabrication experience

Additional Notes:

• Variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) depending on business needs

• Successful completion and clearance of all screening requirements is required

• 3 weeks of training

• Non-managerial, non-leadership role
