JOB TITLE: Avionics Installer II 
LOCATION: Dallas, TX
PAY RATE: $30.17/hour

Summary: 

• Assist with installation, modification, and fabrication of wiring and electrical components, fixtures, and equipment according to blueprints and engineering drawings.

• Maintain required logs and records.

• Complete tasks within assigned timeframes.

• Ensure work meets regulatory requirements and customer specifications.

• Inspect work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to final inspection.

• Follow FOD, tool control, 5S, and all safety programs.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Properly maintain shop equipment and tools.

• Participate in continuous improvement activities (e.g., YIAW, Kaizen events).

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Two (2) years of accredited aviation electronics schooling or two (2) years related work experience, or an avionics certificate from an accredited school plus one (1) year related work experience

• Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications

• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams

• Basic computer and software skills required

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
