JOB TITLE: RS Avionics Installer II
LOCATION: Dallas, TX
PAY RATE: $30.17/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Assist with installations, modifications, and fabrication of wiring, electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment according to blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings.

  • Maintain required logs and records.

  • Complete tasks within the allotted timeframe.

  • Ensure all work meets regulatory and customer specifications.

  • Inspect completed work to ensure a defect-free assembly before final inspection.

  • Follow all company programs and procedures including FOD prevention, tool control, 5S, and safety protocols.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned by the supervisor.

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities (e.g., YIAW, Kaizen events).

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • One of the following required:

    • Two (2) years of accredited aviation electronics schooling

    • Two (2) years of related work experience

    • Avionics certificate from an accredited school and one (1) year of related work experience

  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications

  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Basic computer proficiency and software knowledge

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
