Job Description

JOB TITLE: RS Avionics Installer II - 2nd Shift 
LOCATION: Dallas, TX
PAY RATE: $30.17/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Assist with removal and installation of avionics and electrical components.

  • Fabricate wire harnesses, perform terminations, ring-out, and functional testing.

  • Install and modify wiring and electrical components per blueprints and engineering drawings.

  • Maintain required logs, records, and documentation.

  • Complete tasks within established timeframes.

  • Ensure all work meets regulatory requirements and customer specifications.

  • Inspect work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to final inspection.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area; follow FOD, tool control, 5S, and safety programs.

  • Maintain and properly use shop equipment and tools.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen, YIAW).

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Two (2) years of accredited aviation electronics schooling OR two (2) years of related work experience OR avionics certificate with one (1) year of related experience.

  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and specifications.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Basic computer and software proficiency.

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
