JOB TITLE: RS Avionics Electrical Technician IV
LOCATION: Dallas, TX
PAY RATE: $37.86/hour

Summary: 

  • Lead and provide technical expertise in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing avionics and electrical systems.

  • Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, minimizing schedule impact.

  • Serve as a mentor and trainer, supporting cross-training initiatives.

  • Perform and oversee testing, troubleshooting, and repairs of avionics/electrical systems.

  • Train personnel on installation, testing, and troubleshooting to build a skilled workforce.

  • Ensure quality standards by conducting pre-inspections and documentation.

  • Lead process improvements to reduce costs and maintain schedules.

  • Set up and operate test equipment, ensuring performance and reliability.

  • Enforce safety programs, including FOD, tool control, and 5-S compliance.

  • Collaborate with other disciplines and adapt to schedule changes.

  • Conduct self-inspections for avionics testing.

  • Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, including flight tests if required.

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 6 years of avionics/electrical experience OR 2 years of accredited aviation electronics schooling plus 4 years of related experience.

  • Preferred: A&P License, FCC License, or NCATT Certification.

  • Preferred experience with hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, environmental systems, or structural repairs.

  • APU and engine run qualifications preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
