JOB TITLE: RS Aircraft Upholstery Technician II - 2nd Shift 
LOCATION: Dallas, TX
PAY RATE: $26.93/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Fabricate and install flat panels and curtains; sew basic covers

• Work with materials such as fabric, vinyl, leather, composites, and adhesives using hand and power tools

• Cut and surge carpets, install bulkheads, side panels, headliners, and hatch/window panels

• Use material tracking systems to create part demands, log work, and track discrepancies

• Support process improvements using Lean Manufacturing techniques

• Follow all safety and 5S guidelines; use PPE appropriately

• Address unsafe conditions immediately

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• 2+ years of experience using commercial sewing machines, sergers, or hand tools related to upholstery or carpet trades

• Aerospace industry experience preferred

• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking)

• Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering docs

• Skilled in measuring tools and basic math

• Computer literacy required

• Physically able to lift 40 lbs, work in confined spaces, climb ladders/stairs, and work any shift

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
