JOB TITLE: RS Aircraft Technician II
LOCATION: Mesa, AZ
PAY RATE: $32.18/hour

Job Details:

Summary: 

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs of moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures with minimal supervision.

• Perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision.

• Ensure compliance with FAA and internal inspection/documentation requirements.

• Complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and other paperwork accurately and on time.

• Maintain quality standards and specifications in all work performed.

• Properly tag, store, and secure customer property and aircraft components.

• Operate ground support equipment (power carts, hydraulic mules, tow tugs, forklifts, etc.).

• Assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.

• Provide training to less experienced technicians.

• Protect customer property and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Properly dispose of waste fluids and apply Lean/6S initiatives to work areas.

• Use and maintain company-provided tools and equipment.

• Follow all safety procedures and use protective equipment as required.

• Utilize the material tracking system to manage parts, track squawks, and charge labor to work orders.

• Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, including flight tests if needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate with 2 years of aviation maintenance experience OR 4 years of aviation maintenance experience, including 2 years on mid/large-size aircraft.

• Valid Driver’s License required.

• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, repair station processes, quality control manuals, and company procedures.

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
