Job Description

JOB TITLE: RF Test Technician 
LOCATION: 
Chelmsford, MA
PAY RATE: Up to $28/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Clearance: Ability to obtain interim clearance at the offer stage

  • Shift: Day Shift, Full-Time (Friday–Sunday)

  • Hours: 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with potential for overtime

  • Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation

Summary: 

  • Perform electrical and RF testing on systems, sub-assemblies, and circuit boards using both manual and automated test equipment.

  • Attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and collaboration across multiple teams to support production and quality standards.

  • Perform electrical and RF testing on systems, sub-assemblies, and circuit boards

  • Follow Process/Work Instructions and test plans to ensure compliance with quality standards

  • Operate measuring instruments and electronic test equipment in accordance with quality requirements

  • Record and maintain accurate test data and generate test reports

  • Assist in the improvement of test procedures

  • Perform basic troubleshooting and retesting of electronic assemblies

  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Ability to obtain interim clearance at the offer stage

  • Basic computer skills, including navigating digital systems for timekeeping and task tracking

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics preferred

  • Familiarity with ESD procedures and test equipment

  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability

  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
