JOB TITLE: Quality Inspector - Hybrid
LOCATION: Irvine, CA
PAY RATE: $40/hour

Job Details:

• Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Qualifying Questions:

• Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations?

• Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

• Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary: 

• Perform in-process and final assembly inspections in line with QMS requirements.

• Record and report inspection results and data.

• Follow and document complex processes.

• Communicate product acceptance criteria and inspection findings to engineering, management, and production teams.

• Generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) in Oracle ERP.

• Comply with safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• A&P License required.

• Knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace industry standards.

• Hands-on experience in manufacturing, especially in aircraft mechanical and pneumatic systems.

• Strong understanding of FAA and aviation system requirements.

• Proficient in CATIA, 2D/3D drawings, and engineering data interpretation.

• Detail-oriented with strong technical writing and math skills.

• Experienced with precision measurement tools in aerospace inspections.

• Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.

• Specific vision abilities required, including color perception and depth perception.

• Ability to lift 35 pounds unassisted.
