JOB TITLE: Quality Engineer
LOCATION: 
King of Prussia, PA
PAY RATE: $48/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance with an Interim Secret required prior to start

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Apply quality principles across design, incoming materials, production control, product evaluation, inventory control, reliability, and research & development activities

  • Perform technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, models, drawings, and procedures

  • Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to resolve quality-related issues

  • Participate in product failure investigations, material review board decisions, and corrective/preventive action activities

  • Ensure corrective actions meet reliability standards and compliance requirements

  • Develop strategies and systems to improve internal and supplier quality performance and productivity

  • Evaluate quality systems to identify deficiencies and implement corrective actions

  • Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment

  • Conduct product quality testing and statistical analysis on products or materials that do not meet specifications

  • Support supplier selection activities and maintain supplier certification programs

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance with an Interim Secret required prior to start

  • Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay processes and/or SAP

  • Experience in one or more of the following disciplines:

    • Quality Engineering

    • Systems Engineering

    • Materials Process Engineering

    • Mechanical Engineering

    • Manufacturing Engineering

  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications

  • Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience with Supply Chain Quality Engineering

  • Experience resolving defects through effective root cause corrective action

  • Quality MRB certification

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification

  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification
