JOB TITLE: Quality Assurance Inspector - DEFENSE 
LOCATION: Andrews AFB, MD
PAY RATE: $58/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance required to start

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Review and validate product nonconformances and disposition types

  • Perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions

  • Develop, modify, and document corrective action plans and ensure resolution

  • Review and approve quality planning changes and nonconforming hardware dispositions

  • Ensure compliance with QMS, company procedures, contract requirements, and government regulations

  • Validate configuration management, material review policies, and quality procedures

  • Develop and update software/system processes aligned to industry standards

  • Review audit results and implement corrective actions

  • Create analytical reports for internal and external distribution

  • Negotiate corrective action commitments and prioritize quality activities

  • Train and mentor personnel on Quality Management Systems

  • Perform inspections on aircraft ground support equipment

  • Conduct internal audits and document findings

  • Maintain quality directives, policies, processes, procedures, and metrics

  • Support compliance with regulatory, customer, and international standards

  • Travel up to 25% (domestic and international)

  • Work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd)

Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret clearance

  • Associate degree with 3+ years related experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 1+ year related experience, or 5+ years related work experience in lieu of degree

  • 5+ years experience in support equipment

  • 5+ years Quality Assurance Inspector experience (CDI, CDQAR, QAR, 7-level or higher)

  • Willing and able to travel 25%

  • Willing to work variable shifts

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical data experience (USN or USAF)

  • DCMA INST 8210.1C experience

  • AS9100 Revision D experience

  • Experience applying performance metrics to ensure high-quality delivery
