JOB TITLE: Quality Assurance Engineer Level 1
LOCATION: Tulsa, OK
PAY RATE: $37.42/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

  • Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

Summary: 

  • Assure that investigations on quality issues are conducted according to department procedures and work instructions.

  • Actively identify and complete process improvement projects related to achieving improved quality or efficiency of quality processes.

  • Maintain a FOD free environment.

  • Execute company policies and procedures; develop new procedures as required.

  • Support operating priorities as identified by quality leadership team.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, aviation sciences, quality systems or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License with 4 years related experience can substitute for degree.

  • Familiar with Lean/Six Sigma processes.

  • Ability to learn manufacturing processes (Assembly, Machining, Special Process, Inspection, etc.).

  • Experience conducting quality investigations and drawing valid conclusions.

  • ASQ certification (CQE).

  • FAA recognized airworthiness designee experience.
