Job Description

JOB TITLE: QC Inspector - Hubble
LOCATION: Irvine, CA
PAY RATE: $31-39/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Perform in-process and final assembly inspections in accordance with QMS requirements

  • Accurately input inspection data and results into applicable systems

  • Follow and document complex inspection and manufacturing processes

  • Communicate inspection results and product acceptance criteria with engineering, management, and production teams

  • Generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) within Oracle ERP, TipQA, and/or Apriso as required

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe work environment

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • 3–5+ years of experience required

  • A&P License highly desired

  • Specific vision abilities required, including color perception, close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment (corrected or uncorrected)

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted

  • Working knowledge of AS9100 and other relevant aerospace industry standards

  • Hands-on experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment, with emphasis on aircraft mechanical and pneumatic systems, including prototype aircraft and mechanical system integration

  • Experience inspecting a wide range of components, including engines, avionics, and aircraft structures

  • Strong understanding of FAA regulations and aviation industry requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of inspection techniques and quality issues related to aerospace hardware and systems

  • Ability to generate NCRs using TipQA and/or Apriso

  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools, CATIA V5 (or similar CAD software), and 2D/3D engineering drawings

  • Strong math and technical writing skills

  • Proven experience using precision measurement tools in aerospace inspection

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of company personnel

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
