JOB TITLE: Project Manager
LOCATION: Littleton, CO
PAY RATE: $42-64/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Build, maintain, and optimize project workspaces in Jira

  • Coordinate and track learning and development initiatives from start to finish

  • Initiate and document procurement requests with cost justification

  • Maintain a live project budget tracker and monitor Level of Effort (LOE) vs. budget

  • Identify and communicate budget variances and risks to stakeholders

  • Track resource allocation and team capacity to support forecasting and planning

  • Provide staffing forecasts for upcoming projects

  • Ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality expectations

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and procurement contacts

  • Continuously improve processes by staying current on Jira updates, Agile practices, and procurement policies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Finance, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 3+ years of project coordination or project management experience (training/learning environment preferred)

  • Basic understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)

  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills

  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Advanced proficiency with Jira (configuration, JQL, dashboards)

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP or equivalent certification

  • Atlassian Jira certification

  • Experience with risk management and change control processes

  • Ability to manage complex team dynamics and shifting priorities
