Qualifying Questions:
Summary:
Performs basic fabrication of aircraft interior components and supports production efforts to meet project objectives and deadlines.
Fabricate individual components and complete assembly tasks per specifications.
Build sub-assemblies and assemblies from fabricated parts.
Operate various fabrication machines and equipment.
Interpret basic blueprints and process specifications accurately.
Follow safety procedures and wear required protective equipment, including adherence to Hazardous Materials guidelines.
Maintain regular, reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Prior aerospace production experience preferred.
Strong attention to quality in a schedule-driven environment.
Proficient in using air tools, performing potting, riveting, and general hand-tool assembly.
Experience working with aluminum and Nomex materials.
Comfortable working in a collaborative team setting.
Ability to travel and work outside normal business hours as needed.
Physically able to sit, lift up to 25 lbs (up to 100 lbs with assistance), reach overhead, and perform tasks in standing, kneeling, or cramped positions.
Normal or corrected vision, including close and color vision.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Able to climb ladders and step stools.
Lift and carry 25 lbs independently; up to 100 lbs with assistance.
Work in non-dust-free environments.
Full range of hand motion and ability to maintain various body positions.
