JOB TITLE: Product Support Engineer 3 
LOCATION: Tukwila, WA
PAY RATE: $68/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Interpret and analyze engineering, reliability, maintainability, supply chain, and customer operations data to develop aircraft maintenance instructions.

  • Provide recommendations on product supportability and establish operational maintenance tasks and required support resources.

  • Identify and analyze logistics support candidates from product definition, and develop logistics support analysis (LSA) records and reports.

  • Write and maintain technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft systems and components.

  • Review LSA reports and develop or revise Initial Maintenance Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA).

  • Track and report task status using Boeing workflow management tools.

  • Perform quality checks on completed maintenance tasks.

  • Influence maintenance approach and product design to ensure long-term supportability and maintainability.

  • Perform maintenance task analysis by reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings to produce front-end content for technical publications (maintenance procedures).

  • Conduct repair analysis and support continuous improvement of maintenance instructions.

Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance Required

  • Bachelor's degree and typically 5+ years of relevant engineering experience, or

  • Master’s degree with 3+ years, or

  • PhD with relevant experience in an engineering classification.

  • Degree should be in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.

  • Minimum 2 years of aviation engineering experience.

  • Proficiency with tools including Redars (for interpreting engineering drawings) and SLICwave.

  • Experience in technical publications development.

  • Product support analysis experience.

  • Experience with cross-functional team collaboration.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with CSDT.

  • Experience with CM Pro.
