Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Maintain system security, lead remediation efforts for vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards.

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, experience in generating IATT/ATO packages, and the ability to collaborate with both engineering and compliance teams.

Requirements:

• Active Top Secret security clearance

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited course of study

• Current DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II / IAM Level I or higher (e.g., Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA)

• Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication, and organizational skills

• 2+ years of experience in product security or cybersecurity engineering

• 2+ years of experience with industry standard cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, OWASP, DFARS)

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Windows/RHEL system administration experience, including installation, tuning, and troubleshooting of cyber tools (e.g., ESS/HBSS, ConfigOS, Splunk)

• 2+ years of experience configuring, running, and scripting audit tools

• Experience using Software Assurance (SwA) tools for static and/or dynamic code analysis (e.g., Fortify)

• Experience with FISMA/RMF and NIST 800-53 compliance requirements

• Experience leading system and component-level cyber test and evaluation, including threat and security assessments

• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex technical issues clearly

• Understanding of DoD defense systems architectures, mission concepts, and common system test/data analysis techniques
