Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)
Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Clearance: Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance

Summary:
Applies broad knowledge of design and engineering principles to assess and resolve product and process issues throughout the product lifecycle.
Leads investigations into complex technical, operational, and quality issues, providing both interim and final engineering solutions.
Supports root cause analysis and dispositions for design non-conformances, and drives product/process improvements using innovative methods.
Conducts root cause analysis and develops dispositions for structural non-conformances.
Leads design of interim and final engineering solutions, including static strength analysis and structural repairs.
Supports Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and design reviews as a subject matter expert.
Analyzes reported issues for potential safety implications and manages resolution.
Develops customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance.
Ensures supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards.
Leads onsite repair and accident investigation teams.
Designs jacking and shoring schemes for disabled products.
Develops and implements NDT procedures, tools, and technical training materials.
Must Haves:
Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
9+ years of related experience (or equivalent: PhD + 4 years, Master’s + 7 years). ABET accreditation preferred but not required
MRB certification (previously held)
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
