JOB TITLE: Product Review Engineer 5

PAY RATE: $106/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Apply design principles to assess and resolve product/process issues throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for design non-conformances.

  • Evaluate airplane production discrepancies across electrical, functional test, chemical/thermal processes, raw materials, parts, assemblies, and installations; resolve parts/design repairs or rework.

  • Represent engineering on the MRB, responding to questions and concerns from manufacturing and engineering teams.

  • Evaluate engineering and production data to determine corrective actions for eliminating and preventing chronic errors.

  • Collaborate across all functions to implement corrective actions and approve design revisions to improve production processes, ensuring engineering concurrence.

  • Demonstrate innovative approaches in process improvement and work across multiple disciplines within engineering, manufacturing, and other organizations.

  • Review and audit MRB activities for domestic and foreign suppliers.

Requirements:

  • ABET-accredited degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Aerospace, or Aeronautical Engineering (or equivalent in engineering, CS, math, physics, or chemistry) with 10+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of advanced education and experience (e.g., Master’s + 12 years, PhD + 9 years).

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.

  • Previous experience with BCA or BDS and current or prior Materials Review Board (MRB) involvement.

  • Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends, overtime, or rotating shifts.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
