JOB TITLE: Product Review Engineer 2 - Liaison Engineering
LOCATION: Seattle, WA
PAY RATE: $54/hour

Summary: 

  • Review and evaluate non-conforming parts, assemblies, and installations identified during production.

  • Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities by analyzing discrepancies and recommending engineering dispositions.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and design engineering teams to resolve production-related technical issues.

  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with design requirements.

  • Assist in root cause investigations for manufacturing discrepancies and support corrective actions.

  • Provide technical guidance to manufacturing personnel regarding approved engineering dispositions and repair methods.

  • Document MRB decisions and maintain accurate records of engineering analyses and corrective actions.

  • Support implementation of engineering changes and maintain configuration control.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science degree from an ABET or ABET-equivalent accredited course of study in Engineering.

  • 2 or more years of experience in structures, systems, design, or production engineering (Experienced level).

  • 5 or more years of experience in structures, systems, design, or production engineering (Mid-level).

  • This position supports multiple shifts and may require off-shift, weekend, and travel assignments.

  • The candidate may periodically be assigned to first, second, or third shift as well as weekend or daily overtime.

  • Shift requirements vary by site and are typically covered on a rotational basis.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of experience supporting MRB (Material Review Board) activities related to aircraft systems or structures (Experienced level).

  • 5 or more years of experience supporting MRB activities related to aircraft systems or structures (Mid-level).

  • Hands-on experience with materials and manufacturing processes.

  • Prior certification supporting MRB activities within Commercial Airplanes engineering organizations.
