JOB TITLE: Product Data Management Engineer 3
LOCATION: Oklahoma City, OK
PAY RATE: $68.75/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Collaborates with teams in development, analysis, management, and compliance verification of process and product baselines of complex products.

  • Defines, plans, coordinates, and conducts product and subsystem level technical design reviews and audits for new and derivative products.

  • Analyzes complex product trades or changes and develops technically complete change proposals.

  • Contributes to development and implementation of Configuration and Data Management standards, processes, and tools.

  • Defines and allocates Configuration and Data Management requirements for product hardware, software, and engineering design data systems throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Coordinates integration of product elements and analyzes and resolves issues with engineering product structure.

  • Develops, integrates, and implements engineering technical program plans including impacts, risks, and incorporation of lessons learned spanning multiple engineering functions.

  • Informs designers on rules of military configuration management for B-52 Commercial Engine Replacement Program.

  • Determines kitting requirements and organizes drawing structure for engineers and modification facility.

  • Manages change and variance processing and maintains Configuration Status Accounting (CSA).

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

  • Knowledge of military configuration management rules.

  • Experience with Configuration Management processes.

  • EIA 649-1 (National Consensus Standard for Configuration Management) experience.

  • Experience with change and variance management processing.

  • Experience with Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) creation and updates.

  • Experience with Aircraft Change Notice (A.C.N.) management and tracking.

  • Ability to plan and develop tasks and provide organization to issues.

  • Experience with configuration management for aircraft modification programs.
