Summary:
Responsible for the procurement of a diverse portfolio of materials in support of multiple aircraft development programs.
Sourcing and acquiring build-to-print parts and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components.
Work closely with engineering, program management, and suppliers to ensure timely and compliant procurement aligned with program objectives.
Manage end-to-end procurement activities for assigned aircraft development programs
Source and purchase build-to-print and COTS materials
Develop and issue RFPs, evaluate bids, and participate in source selection
Ensure compliance with applicable FAR/DFAR and ITAR regulations
Maintain strong supplier relationships to support quality, cost, and schedule goals
Collaborate with engineering and program management to align supply chain support with development milestones
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field — or equivalent relevant experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience
7+ years overall experience in Supply Chain Management
Strong knowledge of acquisition procedures and government contracting compliance (FAR/DFAR)
Experience developing RFPs, SOWs, and evaluation criteria
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with subcontracting and purchased services
Prior aerospace/defense procurement experience in both development and production programs
Familiarity with international subcontracting and import/export compliance
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Working knowledge of ITAR and export regulations
