JOB TITLE: PCB Rework Repair Specialist
LOCATION: Clearwater, FL
PAY RATE: Up to $26/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client. 

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Solder/desolder fine-pitch and surface mount components on PCBs

• Repair damaged traces, through-hole pads, surface mount pads, and internal circuitry

• Replace damaged gold contacts and components (through-hole & surface mount)

• Perform hot gas rework for BGA (Ball Grid Array) devices

• Conduct continuity checks and perform quality inspections per specifications

• Modify, rework, reassemble, and test prototype assemblies as needed

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar PCB rework/repair role

• IPC certification (required)

• Strong soldering and rework skills, especially with fine-pitch and BGA components

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to use computers and follow written instructions

• Effective written and verbal communication

• Team player who can collaborate across departments

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
