JOB TITLE: Numerical Control Programmer 5
LOCATION: Everett, WA
PAY RATE: $87/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Develop technical requirements for numerical control and manufacturing processes.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support automation and production initiatives.

  • Identify equipment, tooling, and manufacturing approaches to improve efficiency and productivity.

  • Resolve manufacturing and production process issues related to automation and numerical control programming.

  • Implement and support computing applications for design, machining, inspection, and manufacturing systems.

  • Program, troubleshoot, and optimize robotic systems and automated manufacturing equipment.

  • Train and mentor team members on automation and robotics best practices.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within production environments.

  • Work independently under consultative direction.

Requirements:

  • 9+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience with industrial robotics, automation systems, and robotic cell programming.

  • Knowledge of ABB RobotStudio, ABB, KUKA, and/or Fanuc robotic systems.

  • Experience with high-speed machining in a production environment.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and automation technologies.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on machinist and/or robotics programming experience.

  • Experience with CAD/CAM software such as CATIA, Mastercam, Vericut, RobotStudio, or similar platforms.

  • Certification or formal training in automation or robotics.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Experience with 3D modeling and simulation tools.

  • Regular and predictable attendance required.

  • Non-managerial, individual contributor role.
