JOB TITLE: Numerical Control (N/C) Programmer 
LOCATION: Orlando, FL
PAY RATE: $51.11/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Summary: 

  • Develop and review quality standards, methods, work instructions, and inspection procedures.

  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine inspection requirements.

  • Establish acceptance criteria for machined components and assemblies.

  • Develop CMM programs using Zeiss Calypso software.

  • Design fixtures and determine probe configurations.

  • Support development of ultra-precision inspection processes.

  • Assist senior CMM programmers with advanced measurement strategies.

  • Develop and implement new inspection processes.

  • Introduce automation methods to improve inspection efficiency.

  • Utilize Lean initiatives to reduce waste and support continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Ability to Obtain. Not needed to start.

  • Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and its application.

  • Experience generating inspection processes and determining part acceptance.

  • Strong experience programming Zeiss CMMs.

  • Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Knowledge of CMM software such as Zeiss Calypso.

  • Completion of Zeiss Basic Course (required).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of:

    • Zeiss Advanced Course

    • Zeiss Curve / Free Form Course

  • Experience supporting ultra-precision measurement processes.
