JOB TITLE: Numerical Control (N/C) Programmer
LOCATION: 
King of Prussia, PA
PAY RATE: $51.15/hour (NOOT)

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (Up to 10 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Develop NC programs using engineering specifications and drawings

  • Analyze drawings to determine part configuration and machining sequence

  • Program machining operations for parts, tools, and sheet metal components

  • Select appropriate cutting tools considering:

    • Speeds and feeds

    • Cutter types

    • Machine and control system limitations

  • Select and optimize program routines for efficient dimensional and machining calculations

  • Test and modify existing programs to incorporate engineering changes or improve performance

  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams

Requirements:

  • Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance

  • Proficiency in Siemens NX

  • Experience with Vericut simulation software

  • Strong background in NC programming for precision machining

  • Experience with Calypso software

  • Experience programming Zeiss CMM machines

  • Quality inspection and dimensional verification experience

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing environments

  • Experience working with tight tolerance precision components

  • Familiarity with engineering change processes
