JOB TITLE: Military Weapons Systems - DEFENSE

Malmstrom AFB, MT
PAY RATE: Up to $43/hour

Summary: 

We are seeking experienced Weapons Mechanics to support the MH-139 program at Malmstrom AFB. This is a hands-on, critical role maintaining and troubleshooting aircraft weapons systems in accordance with military and OEM standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, maintain, clean, and repair M240D weapons in compliance with military/OEM standards

  • Assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace systems and weapons components

  • Troubleshoot and test pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate and resolve mechanical or electrical issues

  • Oversee overhaul and upgrades of aerospace vehicle components

  • Conduct validation and verification testing of systems and components

  • Document work procedures, repairs, modifications, and inspection results to ensure full contractual and regulatory compliance

  • Inspect components and verify repairs for weapons flight worthiness

  • Support and train team members as needed

  • Must be open to working variable shifts

Requirements:

 

  • U.S. Secret Security Clearance (active within the past 24 months)

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Typically 4+ years of relevant work experience, or equivalent (vocational training, Associate’s + 2 years, Bachelor's, etc.)

     

  • Minimum 3 years of military aircraft maintenance experience

  • Minimum 3 years of military weapons systems experience

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Skills:

  • M240D weapons experience

  • Rotorcraft maintenance background

  • Current or previous Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License

  • General mechanical skills across systems
