JOB TITLE: Micro-Electronics Assembler - 2nd Shift
LOCATION: Chelmsford, MA
PAY RATE: $25/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Clearance: Interim Secret clearance required to start; supplier will initiate clearance process at offer stage.

• Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM)

• Overtime: Available as needed

Summary: 

• Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and products in accordance with work instructions and engineering drawings.

• Use microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to meet strict quality standards.

• Read and interpret assembly processes and documentation.

• Handle both microscopic and larger components, using visual magnification when required.

• Operate hand tools (tweezers, rulers, cutters) and pneumatic tools (torque drivers, screwdrivers).

• Maintain accurate production data entry.

• Collaborate with team members to improve workflow and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Interim Secret clearance required to start; supplier will initiate clearance process at offer stage.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Basic computer skills for navigating timekeeping systems, work instructions, and task tracking.

• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to learn J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 standards.

• Experience with electrical or micro-electronics assembly preferred.

• Familiarity with ESD procedures and test equipment.

• Reliable, punctual, and eager to grow in the role.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
