JOB TITLE: Metrology & Calibration Lab Technician II
LOCATION: Seattle, WA
PAY RATE: $34.50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Calibrate and certify a variety of measurement and test equipment while supporting the development of test procedures.

  • Work with diverse metrology parameters, including precision dimensional and optical, mass, temperature/humidity, pressure, flow, and force.

  • Support both military and commercial programs such as 777X, 737MAX, 787, P-8, Tanker, and others.

  • Deliver products and services that meet the highest technical and quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies, embracing first-time quality.

  • Plan, conduct, and document tests on measurement and test equipment

  • Coordinate test requirements and determine methods and capabilities

  • Analyze test data and maintain documentation

  • Revise and update test procedures

  • Troubleshoot and resolve laboratory and test-related issues

  • Work under general direction

Requirements:

  • AA degree in a related discipline and 1+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3+ years of calibration and certification experience, or equivalent education/experience

  • Experience with flow, pressure, linear measurements, temperature/humidity, electrical, or other physical metrology processes

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

  • Electrical calibration/certification experience

  • Certified Calibration Technician (CCT)

  • Aerospace industry experience

  • PMEL (Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory) experience

  • Experience with LabVIEW, C++, Access

  • Experience writing and configuring automated software and hardware tests
