JOB TITLE: Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer 2

PAY RATE: $48/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Security Clearance: Secret clearance not required to start but must be obtainable

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Support development and documentation of mechanical, fluid, and thermal systems

• Assist with system design development, maintenance, and modifications

• Provide design documentation and high-level requirements to downstream users

• Perform detailed mechanical design and system installation modifications

• Support spatial integration at system and component levels

• Contribute to work involving mechanisms, landing gear, and ordnance systems

• Assist with preparation of technical documentation

• Support engineering proposals and business development efforts

Requirements:

• Secret clearance not required to start but must be obtainable

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 2+ years of engineering experience OR a Master’s degree in an engineering discipline

• Degree must be from an accredited engineering program

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
