Job Type: Contract (Up to 6 months with potential for extension)
Clearance: Secret (not required to start but must be obtained during contract)
Travel: <10% as program requires
Schedule: 1st Shift | 5/40

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Design and oversee testing of mechanical components and mechanisms for launch systems
Support planning and execution of design modifications and design reviews
Develop designs using CREO and DSR6 (Model-Based Definition) methodology
Analyze and design mechanical mechanisms to meet program requirements
Requirements:
Clearance: Secret (not required to start but must be obtained during contract)
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
Strong experience with CREO
Experience with DSR6 (Model-Based Definition)
2–4 years of experience designing and analyzing mechanical mechanisms
Ability to support limited travel (<10%)
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with tooling and MGSE
Familiarity with welded steel structures
Knowledge of AWS D17.1 and related specifications
Welding experience (2–4 years preferred)
