We at The Structures Company have an opportunity for you as a Materials & Processes Engineer!
 
As a Materials and Processes Engineer focused on metallic materials and process, you will be responsible for coordinating and conducting various metallic materials engineering testing to develop material & processing to meet stringent requirements per Space Flight Systems.
  • Under senior technical leader guidance, you will develop and refine material and process requirements across multiple programs and Author materials and processing specifications.
  • Develop and review process specifications, part drawings, and other documents, including supplier auditing.
  • Working with team members and leadership, you will Interact with stakeholders in Manufacturing, Engineering, and other departments for various projects.

This opportunity is Hybrid, 4 days a week onsite in Tustin, CA and one day working remote

Pay Rate: Up to $85/HR

 
What You Bring
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an ABET, or equivalent, accredited institution with a concentration in a relevant metallic materials discipline with minimum 8 years aerospace working experiences.
  • Familiarity with aerospace metallic materials, such as Aluminum, CRES, Titanium, etc and processes.
  • Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to different audiences.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Familiar with metallic material characterization.
  • Extensive Experience with metallic material processing, especially vendor and industry auditing.
  • Familiar with aerospace fasteners.
