JOB TITLE: Material Coordinator
LOCATION: San Antonio, TX
PAY RATE: Up to $26/hour

Summary: 

• Responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments based on production and shipping schedules or supervisor priorities.

• Coordinate material flow based on job orders and production schedules

• Requisition materials and establish delivery sequences to departments

• Arrange in-plant transfers and coordinate with departments for repairs, assembly, and transport of materials

• Examine delivered materials to verify accuracy

• Monitor and control material movement via conveyor systems or manual transport

• Maintain production and inventory records using manual or computerized systems

• Conduct inventory checks and report damaged or deteriorated materials

• Route materials to proper storage and prepare materials for shipment

• Order tools, parts, and materials as needed

• Maintain compliance with health and safety standards, FOD, tool control, and inventory procedures

• Identify and resolve material and schedule-related issues, sometimes requiring in-depth analysis

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required

• 4+ years of experience in warehouse inventory, material handling, and parts accountability

• Ability to work in various physical environments and wear required safety equipment

• Willingness to work any shift as needed

• Computer proficiency

• Ability to obtain forklift certification

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
