Job Description

The Structures Company is seeking a Master Scheduler to work on-site in Columbia, MO 

Job Summary

Maintain monthly and/or weekly Master Production Schedule in order to balance demand and supply within available capacity and set Inventory targets. Orchestrate the cross-functional production schedule activities following the business standard.

Job Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate Planning and/or Scheduling activities beyond the current week time horizon.
  • Create and maintain plans and schedules to ensure 100% customer demand supply while maintaining Inventory targets and optimizing plant capacity.
  • Plan and/or schedule production for specified products and production lines understanding all the physical and manning constraints.
  • Ensure that the Master Production Schedule:
    • Is feasible and balanced against resource / demonstrated capacity,
    • Includes all phase-in/out, localization and transfer plans as well as new programs development/prototyping,
    • Is based on agreed working calendar and includes all planned downtime (Holiday, routine maintenance, Line closures, etc.),
    • Is in line with Supplier/Subcontractor available capacity,
    • Production Past Dues are re-scheduled weekly
  • Provide input for Material Requirement Planning / Vendor Scheduling process,
  • Proactively communicate/escalate to the management team potential production schedule issues/constraints to trigger preventive actions in order to mitigate supply failure risk,
  • Support operations in monitoring manufacturing output/performance against the schedule/plan, challenging and understanding whenever performance differs from standard,
  • Support Program Management in analyzing Inventory levels in order to optimize/challenge current status and search for improvement opportunities,
  • Provide communication/feedback to Customer Service / PM in case of any potential supply issues and also in order to improve Forecast accuracy,
  • Manage or take active part in plant performance related continuous improvement projects/activities,
  • Support Operations in the analysis of Master Schedule Adherence,
  • Ensure system Master Data is up to date for all planning and scheduling purposes

Job Qualifications

 Required Qualifications:


Minimum of 3 years production panning management experience

Minimum of 3 years ERP based planning experience

Preferred Qualifications

Aerospace production experience
