Job Description

JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Planner L3
LOCATION: Oklahoma City, OK
PAY RATE: $50.50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)

  • Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance

  • Shift: 1st Shift | 9/80 Schedule | Full-time | Overtime up to 25%

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Support the B-52 Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP).

  • Focus on creating, revising, and reviewing build and installation plans for the B-52J Commercial Reengine Program.

  • Develop and maintain work instructions for component, system, and assembly installations

  • Create, revise, and manage manufacturing documents and training materials

  • Ensure documentation complies with industry standards and is kept current

  • Analyze data to identify process discrepancies and improvement areas

  • Interpret engineering drawings and modification documents

  • Author content following publication standards and government/customer specifications

  • Use online/web-based tools to manage and maintain data

  • Collaborate with project teams and subject matter experts to define content needs

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members

  • Work independently with minimal supervision and strong ethical standards

  • Support AS9100D quality management compliance

  • Resolve complex technical issues impacting performance, cost, or schedule

  • Develop strong working relationships across internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance

  • Associate degree + 3+ years of relevant experience

  • OR equivalent combinations such as:

    • Bachelor’s + 1 year experience

    • 5+ years of directly related experience

  • 1+ year of experience with aircraft wiring, structures, or systems installations and planning

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in aircraft modifications

  • Experience with producibility reviews and installation work instructions

  • Skilled in troubleshooting complex technical issues

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel

  • GOLDesp, CATIA V5, IVT, MANTIS, ADO, CMPRO, Manufacturing Readiness Assessments, Program Manufacturing Plan, EBOM/MBOM reconciliation
