JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Planner 3
LOCATION: San Antonio, TX
PAY RATE: $51.00/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Plans and leads department processes for developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to document as-built configuration.

  • Develops and plans manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.

  • Prepares build analyses and cost estimate reports for manufacturing planning.

  • Leads integration of complex suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.

  • Develops complex tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.

  • Manages tooling from initial design to end-of-use disposition.

  • Leads investigation and resolution of complex or systemic manufacturing related issues.

  • Leads teams performing producibility assessments of design concepts.

  • Drafts, updates, and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements.

  • Reviews and implements non-conformance requirements into shop floor work orders and supplier specifications, and translates EBOM into MBOM.

Requirements:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor 1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

  • 5+ years of manufacturing planning experience.

  • Experience with GOLD production system.

  • Experience developing manufacturing plans and Bill of Materials.

  • Experience integrating suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology for manufacturing.

  • Experience developing and managing tooling requirements.

  • Experience performing producibility assessments and resolving manufacturing issues.

  • Experience translating EBOM into MBOM.

  • Ability to work in a factory environment including walking, climbing steps, and scaffolding.
