Job Description

JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Planner 4

LOCATION: San Antonio, TX

PAY RATE: $56.25/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension) 

  • Shift: 4x10 (A shift: Sun-Wed, B shift: Wed-Sat), must be willing to work 1st or 2nd shift)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

  • Develop and maintain manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and production documentation.

  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing data to support production activities.

  • Provide planning support and technical clarification to mechanics and production teams.

  • Prepare build analyses, cost estimates, and manufacturing process documentation.

  • Support tooling development, supplier integration, and manufacturing process improvements.

  • Investigate and help resolve manufacturing-related issues to support production and delivery requirements.

  • Create and update procedures, work statements, and manufacturing schedules.

  • Work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under ITAR regulations).

  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience; OR

  • Associate degree and 6+ years of relevant experience; OR

  • High School Diploma/GED and 8+ years of relevant experience.

  • Manufacturing planning experience.

  • CAD software experience.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret engineering data.

  • Ability to read and understand 2D and 3D engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing engineering processes.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Regular and predictable attendance.
