Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance preferred; ability to obtain and maintain a required clearance. A current clearance is not required to start.

Summary:
Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, models, and manufacturing documentation to develop detailed work instructions
Plan and sequence manufacturing operations for one or more planning groups, including:
Machine parts
Composite details and assemblies
Airframe structures
Aircraft systems and checkouts
Wiring and electrical systems
Plumbing
Aircraft maintenance
MRB and coatings
Apply knowledge of shop theory, tooling, manufacturing methods, and production processes to create accurate and efficient work instructions
Collaborate with designers and production engineers to interpret engineering, tooling, and manufacturing requirements
Serve as a liaison between Engineering, Planning, Tool Design, Tool Shops, and Production to ensure manufacturing conformance
Investigate manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions as needed
Requirements:
Active Secret clearance preferred; ability to obtain and maintain a required clearance. A current clearance is not required to start.
5+ years of manufacturing planning or work instruction experience, or equivalent experience in manufacturing/engineering documentation development
Demonstrated ability to create comprehensive manufacturing work instructions related to one or more of the following:
Machine parts
Composite details/assemblies
Airframe structures
Aircraft systems and checkouts
Wiring and electrical systems
Plumbing
Aircraft maintenance
MRB or coatings
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical references
Strong instructional writing proficiency
Detailed knowledge of fabrication, tooling, manufacturing, and inspection methods related to aircraft parts, assemblies, systems, or vehicles
Experience using systems such as:
SAP
MS Office
CAPP/SFM
Solumina/iBASEt
Teamcenter
3DX
Or similar manufacturing/planning software
Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field, or equivalent industry experience
Active Secret Clearance (investigation within the last 5 years or CE enrollment preferred)
Understanding of:
Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM)
Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM)
Order Bill of Materials (OBOM)
Experience collaborating cross-functionally to resolve EBOM, MBOM, and OBOM-related issues
Familiarity with CAD/CAE tools such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or CATIA
Familiarity with PLM software, including Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, or SAP PLM
Experience with PLM tools, ERP systems, and product data management software
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams
