JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Creates comprehensive work instructions from engineering drawings and parts lists.

• Implements automation and advanced technologies to enhance build efficiency.

• Leads root cause corrective action (RCCA) investigations on complex failure modes.

• Develops process improvements that lower cost, increase quality, and accelerate delivery.

• Applies detailed knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to manufacturing processes.

• Uses SAP for manufacturing operations and process management.

• Applies Lean Six Sigma manufacturing concepts and techniques to process improvement.

• Works with electromechanical and optical assemblies for manufacturing processes.

• Uses CREO or ProE with a focus on tool design for manufacturing operations.

• Implements process improvements using automation insertions in manufacturing floor environment.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Engineering, or related discipline.

• 3+ years of experience with writing technical work instructions.

• 3+ years of experience with detailed knowledge of GD&T.

• 3+ years of experience with SAP for manufacturing operations.

• 3+ years of experience with Lean Six Sigma manufacturing concepts and techniques.

• 3+ years of experience working with electromechanical and optical assemblies.

• 3+ years of experience with CREO or ProE with a focus on tool design.

• 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing floor environment.
