Job Description

JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer
LOCATION: Clearwater, FL
PAY RATE: $32.00 – $53.00/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier aerospace and defense client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Shift: Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance preferred

  • Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

  • Support and improve manufacturing processes, production flow, and equipment setup.

  • Work with printed circuit boards (PCBs) in a manufacturing environment.

  • Troubleshoot production and equipment issues and help implement corrective actions.

  • Assist with tooling, testing, inspections, and process improvements.

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve product quality and efficiency.

  • Ensure manufacturing processes follow quality and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.

  • 2–4 years of manufacturing engineering experience.

  • Experience working with printed circuit boards (PCBs) required.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, and production systems.

  • Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and process improvement methods.

  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
