JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer
LOCATION: Archbald, PA
PAY RATE: $53.65/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (Up to 10 months with potential for extension)

Summary: 

• Modify manufacturing process procedures as required.

• Review defective hardware and provide direction to restore to acceptable condition.

• Support manufacturing assemblers by interpreting work instructions and assisting production efforts.

• Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans as needed.

• Evaluate tool performance and process plans to verify efficiency.

• Investigate problems and initiate corrective actions to ensure product quality.

• Provide guidance to engineering on design concepts and specification requirements to optimize manufacturability.

• Ensure manufacturing processes and procedures comply with applicable regulations.

• Identify opportunities to improve production flow, reduce span time, and lower hours per unit.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a security clearance (not required to start)

• High School Diploma required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).

• Experience with cable and harness manufacturing.

• Experience with electromechanical assembly manufacturing.

• Familiarity with J-STD, IPC-610, and IPC-620 standards (certification not required).

• Experience with Windchill PLM, SAP ERP, and Apriso software preferred.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
