JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer 4

PAY RATE: $80.50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)

• Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance

Summary: 

• Support the B-52 Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP).

• Develop and maintain installation and build plans for system modifications and upgrades.

• Create and update installation work instructions and manufacturing process documentation

• Interpret engineering drawings, perform data analysis, and identify areas for improvement

• Ensure documentation meets internal standards and government/customer specifications

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production and ensure compliance

• Participate in producibility reviews and troubleshooting efforts

• Provide mentoring and technical guidance during project execution

• Maintain awareness of AS9100 D QMS requirements and ensure compliance

• Utilize tools such as GOLDesp, CATIAV5, IVT, MANTIS, CMPRO, and ADO

Requirements:

• Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field

• 9+ years of relevant experience (or Master’s +7, or PhD +4)

• 1+ years of experience in aircraft wiring, structures, or systems installation/planning

• Strong understanding of manufacturing methods and fabrication processes

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across global teams

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

• ABET accreditation preferred 

• 3+ years of experience with aircraft modifications

• Experience with EBOM/MBOM reconciliation and producibility reviews

• Familiarity with installation instruction development and manufacturing planning tools

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex issues
